Luigi Mangione wants his trial televised and open access to as much media and public as possible. Prosecution does not.
Luigi and his lawyers have claimed in a new letter that the process by which reporters are picked to report on the case has been tainted. Only 68 pre-selected journalists will be allowed to cover his trial in Sept, and only 6 will be allowed in for jury selection. The Judge has also said there will be no overflow room for extra media and public, despite the unprecedented public interest in the case. Luigi also wants his trial live-streamed, so that as many people can see it as possible.
